Our Episode 9 guest Abby Kotun epitomizes career pivot on a major level, having moved from a thriving engineering career in a Fortune 100 company to leaving for law school . Her self-actualization journey paid off and today Abby is an accomplished patent and labor law attorney and in her element, making impact on her own terms. Hear her inspiring story in this podcast. 

Abby is also highly engaged in the African American and Nigerian community, fostering connections and advocating for change and empowerment. She has held several leadership positions in this capacity for several years and is currently the Vice President of Outreach in the Nigerian American Multicultural Council. In our discussion, like a true champion, Abby called on the African immigrant community to engage and be involved because decisions are being made without us at the table and we could do much more if we are connected . She highlights several of their economic and social contributions to the United States. The current push for racial equity is a movement for every black person in the US, including immigrants, she says. This impressive woman, who lives by the principles of service, shares with us how she gets things done and how you can be more productive.
